Patiala Babes is an Indian drama television series starring Paridhi Sharma and Ashnoor Kaur. This series is created by Katha Kottage and produced by Rajita Sharma and Vivek Budakoti. Patiala Babes is dubbed in Tamil version as Pavithra on Polimer TV.[1] It is premiered 27 November 2018 on Sony TV.[2][3] This show revolves around the bond shared between a mother and daughter.[4][2]

Plot[edit]
Babita (Paridhi Sharma), a simple and down to earth woman who has a hard time overcoming self-doubt informed by years of being in an oppressive marriage and her fearless daughter, Mini (Ashnoor Kaur), who doesn't hesitate to beat up lecherous men in her neighborhood, a young girl she encourages her traditional mother to realize her worth and fulfill her dreams. The story line also shows how Babita learns to live her life on her own terms with her daughter when her egotist husband, Ashok Khurana (Bhanujeet Sudan), cheats her for being with his business partner, Meeta Basu (Hunar Hali), a nice and self-sufficient woman.[4][5][6]
Mini though strong, but still in her teenage suffers from stress and anxiety disorder, can't take the day to day mental assault from the society, and also from her stupid, worthless and egotist father, and also can't see her mother being physically and mentally assaulted by the society.
